My Blog

This area is going to evolve throughout the year. Some times I will write something here, and some days I will not. I wanted this space here to put ideas that I have which may not fit somewhere else.

8-10-05

Greetings from a very hot and humid Arkansas. It is about 102 outside right now. Last week, I announced the launch of www.kinderteach.com the online store that accompanies this site. We are currently running a contest, check out daily printables page for more details.

The coming week, I will be working on a variety of different subjects. I will be adding some new pages to the site in the next few days as well. Stay tuned for the exciting new developments. Have a great day!

7-31-05

Well…. July came and went … I am not sure where the time goes, but it certainly goes fast. 🙂 As you can see by some of the changes on this website, I have been slowly adding new materials. I have updated the website today to include the remainder of the M.O.O.S.E. book covers, dinosaur, and train printables.

Earlier this month I began selling content CD’s which contain all of the printables on this site with the exception of the MO.O.S.E. book covers.

This week, I will be unveiling a new project I’ve been working on for awhile. In fact, I am almost done with it and will be sharing the good news with everybody on Monday. 🙂

I hope all of you are having a good summer, and looking forward to going back to school in the Fall.

Have a happy day!

6-10-05

It’s been almost a month since I have written here. Yikes! Where does the time go? The last month has been filled with creating new learning materials, and also dealing with the day to day activities on the farm. I hope sometime this summer to have my farm website put back online so that you can see some of my little goats. 🙂 As some of you may know, in March, my nubian doe had her babies 2 weeks early. The surviving baby, Peanut, weighed 1 lb when I found him. After a lot of TLC, and love, Peanut weighs about 35lbs.

The mares and foals are all doing well. They don’t particularly like all of the heat. Their schedule has been changed now so that they will be in the barn under fans for the bulk of the day, and then will be let out at night when it’s cooler.

Monday starts our new theme, as well as the start of Kinder Printables Newsletter. I am so happy to be able to provide learning materials to you. If you’d like to subscribe, you can send a blank email to:
KinderPrintables-subscribe@yahoogroups.com.
You won’t want to miss the first issue!

I have been receiving a lot of very nice emails from many of you who want to share a bit of your life and interests with me. It makes me feel warm inside to know that there are so many caring people out there.

A big thank you to all of you who have written to me to welcome me back online, and to wish me well. Your letters of encouragement are my inspiration to continue the work that I do. 🙂 I feel very fortunate to know you!

5-16-05

It has been about a week or so since I wrote last. It has been a very busy time not only around the farm, but also preparing printables. We have had out of town guests in and out for the last week or so bring their horses in.

My aunt started her first treatment for chemotherapy today, she was diagnosed with breast cancer not too long ago. She had surgery a month ago to remove the lump and 2 lymph nodes. Prognosis is about 80% full recovery for her. Just a warning to all women, get those mammograms even if you think you are too young. My aunt is an older woman and faithfully had her mammogram every year. It was her mammogram this year that saved her life. If you can’t afford one, there are medical programs for women so that the mammograms are free.

On a more upbeat note… I have been working on some new printables. The frog stuff has been a huge hit with the daily printables. The whole frog page will be uploaded in a few minutes. I hope that the next theme is as much of a splash! :)))

5-5-05

The last couple days have been a blur. 🙂 I think that I have finally narrowed down all of the gliches on this website. When you have a website with so many pages, you are bound to have some links that aren’t quite right. I am trying to get this site to a point where I can update in just a couple clicks a mouse.

I am working on FROG stuff right now. The Daily Kinder Printable area is starting to develop. I will be adding KinderBuzz this weekend, and possibly get Classroom Centers ready for visitors.

Have a good night! Tomorrow is Friday!!! Yippeee!

5-2-05

Today was a very good day. I announced the new design and layout to my online friends. I am pleased at the response. It is a lot of work to maintain a website like this. I will be expanding the site as I go along. As long as I have ideas, I will always have more pages to add. LOL

I didn’t make any printables today as I have spent most of the day outside. Our last horse is due to foal any time.

Sweet dreams everyone!

4-30-05

I hope that you like the new graphics on the site. I struggled with the decision to put everything onto one website. I had planned originally to have more than one site. What changed my mind was the volume of printables I have been making. I think having them all in once place would make it easier for people to find. There are a few things about this site I am not all that keen on yet, but it would probably be boring if it was exactly how I want it. 🙂

** Kinder Printables CD **
