About Me
My
name is Danielle. I live in a small town in Arkansas. I have a small herd of dairy
goats, and a chocolate lab puppy named Maisy!
I
have came back online in 2005 after a 2+ year hiatus. I left the online community
following a very bad online experience, and from that experience I have learned
how to be more compassionate and forgiving.
I
was victim of some pretty damaging rumors and copyright
infringement.
After a lot of time, prayer, thought, reflection and healing, I forgave the women
that went out of their way to say untrue things about me and copyright infringe
10 years worth of my work. I also have forgiven all of the people who believed
the rumors. Being able to forgive was the first major step in healing.
I
would like to state for the record that even though there are a few things written
about me online, it doesn't mean that those things are true. I have never broken
the law in my life, I have never been investigated or charged with any wrong doing
- ever! What I am guilty of is being too trusting. I know what the rumors were,
but they were just that, rumors. There was no truth to any of it. Sadly, the rumors
were started by someone that I had considered a friend that didn't want competition.
I
had walked away from the groups I ran, websites I put my heart into developing,
and the online community - not out of guilt, but out of sadness. It hurt me deeply
that after so many years of helping people that my integrity and spirit would
become so mangled.
I
have grown a lot through this experience and even though it was painful to go
through, I believe that I am a much better person for it. I have faith in my heart
that I didnt have before. I learned to care and love who I am, which makes a big
difference in how I embrace others around me.
I
hope that if you ever are tempted to say something unkind about
someone
else, that you will stop and think about the words you use. It also would be a
good idea to find out both sides of the story before making up your mind about
a person. At the bottom of most of these pages, I have a graphic that says "Words
hurt, think before you speak." It is a reminder to consider what the other
person might be feeling at the other end of your email. Nobody is perfect, that's
why we're still on this earth. Sometimes the lessons we are supposed to learn
aren't exactly what we had in mind. Take it from someone who knows, God only gives
us what we can handle.
I
have been so excited to be able to touch base with old friends, and make new friends
as well. I feel extremely blessed to have this opportunity to create learning
materials and share them with you.
I
have put the past behind me, and I definitely look forward to what the future
holds. If for some reason you have questions about what is written here, feel
free to email me and ask.
With
all that said... I hope that you enjoy this website!
